Best GOP Ticket?

I think Huckabee as Prez, and Ron Paul as VP..... I honestly don't think Hillary Clinton or Hussein Obama could beat that ticket...!!! The only combonation that would stand a chance against them would be a Edwards/Webb ticket... However, I think the Democratic party is too smitten with the whole; "Hillary-Obama craze" to see it....

Isolationism or The war in Iraq?

I think many people who oppose the policies of our present administration concerning the war in Iraq, fall prey to conservative rhetoric...
The bottom line is, just because many of us think the Iraq war was a huge mistake, doesn't mean we subscribe to Isolationism....!!! Maybe, just maybe, it might be a matter of right and wrong..!!
Does the fact that other countries, who openly oppose the war in Iraq, make them guilty of "Isolationism"..?
Could unilateralism lead to isolationism...? I honestly don't think so, in terms of the U.S., but it could very well be considered a stepping stone...!!!!

Is it really fair for a candidate to have 100 million bucks to spend on their campaign, while another may only have 3.5 million....Does money make a difference.?
Does the best candidate, get the most money?
Under the current system, who gives the most (in terms of political fundraising), corporations, or private citizens?
Who gets the best representation.?
What is Fascism?
What is Socialism?
Does the current election process mirror any of the aspects of Fascism or Socialism?
Does it need to be changed?

In my opinion, yes, it definately needs to be changed..!!

Should ThoughtVent be censored

Why does this site censor hot topics.?? If one doesn't wish to be part of a specific discussion, just change topics... I find it humorous, we debate over wether the Patriot act is good or bad, then lock/delete Topics, edit replies, etc..
