Hi!

Is anyone familiar with The Ministry of Truth blog? It's really interesting, they're making a documentary (and writing the blog to accompany their 'adventures') about how there isn't a means of prosecuting politicians who are found to have knowingly deceived the public (in the UK). When I first encountered the blog I was horrified by this fundamental gap in the constitution - do we really live in a democracy. I was reading about the Elizabeth Filkin affair the other day - she is the ex-Commissioner for Parliamentary Standards who was hounded out of her job by various 'important' peeps in parliament when her investigations rubbed them up the wrong way...hmmm.

The Ministry of Truth have a pretty impressive new website as well:

www.ministry-of-truth.net

(Here's the link the old blog I'm familiar with: www.mo-truth.blogspot.com)

I say good luck to them, it's about time someone speaks out about this
