[50 Cent]Well, seein as no one posted about the hottest game EVERRRR for ten ****ing years, until The Sims pwned its standins, I will start wit dis thread, yo![/50 Cent]

The series has been up there with the best games ever, in my book. It's a true test for RPG lovers, always being placed in an unknown world, having to get the storyline yourself, and then solve some of the hardest puzzles ever found in a game based on that self-extracted knowledge. Uru disappointed me quite a bit: the Myst feeling seemed drained at that point.
But anyways, anyone play this wonderful series?

Well, I am a rather big fan of a few bits of Tool's work. Schism, in my mind, being one of the greatest songs ever created. If I could play that on guitar, I would feel all special biggrin.gif

Anyone else here like/know of their stuff?

Hello TV!

I found this gem of freeware a year ago. The game is J.D. Spy: you play as some computerish dude who just launches his e-mail client, and lo and behold gets an error message!
And the adventure begins. Upon completion of the first puzzle, you find in the secret world of espionage.

The thing I like about this game the most is that the puzzles are not restricted to within the game itself. Most of the puzzles are solved outside of the game, using tools like search engines, maps, and even the occasional Paint!

There is ONE puzzle that involves Java. It's been awhile since I played, but I didn't know Java at all and I managed to get through it.

So, if you're up to the challenge, give it a try! And remember, the first error message IS a puzzle.

NOTE: Though this game plays in an e-mail client, it is not REAL. You DO NOT use the Internet during this game.

Hello TV!
I have found a pretty useful tool to determine your standings on the "political compass". Check it out:
http://www.politicalcompass.org

It has an explanation of the results when you have taken the quiz! I am:
Economic: -2.62
Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.60

This thread is for the purpose of discussing the various questions, results, and explanations in the political compass, and your opinions on it! Rock on!

Alright, so my mom discovered this one at a party for a new doctor in town. It is DELICIOUS!!! Feel free to change the Jell-O flavor. I've never tried it with anything except lemon, but I'm sure other flavors would be OK as well.

-Super Dooper Yummy Punch Stuffzzzzz-
4 c. water, 7 c. water
4 c. sugar
1 3 oz. Pkg of lemon jello (you can experiment with different flavors)
1 46 oz. can pineappple juice
2 or 3 2 liter bottles of lemon-lime soda pop (the cheaper, the more carbonation)

Mix 4 cups water and sugar in a large pot (8-12 quarts). Cook until sugar is dissolved. Stir often. Add jello mix and pineapple juice when sugar water is clear. Add additional 7 cups water and freeze.
When ready to serve, chop up in slushy pieces and pour lemon-lime over the top to desired consistency. Could take 2-3 bottles of pop per recipe.
