Here's the deal. NIN and Trent Reznor have released a new album titled "The Slip" for free download from their website. The download comes with a *.pdf containing the album artwork. The music is licensed under a Creative Commons License.

well after a long drawn out absence I'm back. Still living in the same place (due to a lazy contractor). It actually wasnt too too bad living without a computer or internet since november but I've really missed you guys and I'm glad to be back.

Avenged Sevenfold (A7X) released their 4th Album 10/30/2007. It was a fairly quite release, mainly due to that the first single off of the album "Critical Acclaim" literally gives the Anti war movement the finger.

A lot of "fans" are saying that A7X has sold out since M. I really enjoy their stuff. These guys are the next Metallica or Pantera. They are redefining Heavy metal as we speak.

Serj Tankian....what can you say about this guy....eclectic, anti-war, anti-establishment most importantly Lead Singer and keyboardist of System of a Down. All of that is reflected in his Debut solo LP. From the video of his first Single Empty Walls you can literally see what the ideals behind the music on this CD is about and you can hear the eclectic sound that permeates this CD. Also you can see the second single from this album Unthinking Majority on YouTube
Serj did most of the instruments and vocals on this album as you can see from this video (a parody of MTV interviews) Serj's interview with Serj. All in all if your a System of a Down fan who has the last 2 "albums" (technically it was supposed to be a Double CD, the cases even join together) you know what your in store for. I give it a 6 out of 8 rating in my Exaile Music player.
